    William Prince gave a show like I have never attended before. He had a way of making the audience feel grounded and in the moment. His songs had meaning and he had a way of bringing out deep emotions in the audience. When I was finally able to take my eyes off the stage (simply William and his backup guitarist... no bells or whistles) I noticed several people in the audience were teary-eyed. I also noticed that no one had their phones out, which speaks volumes! I would absolutely recommend seeing William Prince and this was the perfect venue to carry his voice, his vulnerability, and his art.

    We missed Wyatt C Louis, which was a shame, but caught Kacy and Clayton, cousins from Saskatchewan, who took the trouble to round up Calgary Winter Olympic square dance outfits (yellow and shiny) and charm the crowd. Their music was reminiscent of old country harmony. William Prince came with a great band and did not disappoint. He is even more comfortable on stage than when I saw him about a year ago. His voice and stories immediately put the audience in the right frame of mind to absorb the sets. Loved the "I Want it That Way"cover of the Backstreet boys, as a surprise addition.
