When Sarah Millican was a bairn, she wouldn't say boo to a goose. Quiet at school, not many friends, no boobs til she was 16. Now? NOW she is loud, with good friends, a cracking rack and goose booing all over the shop. In Late Bloomer, Sarah's brand-new stand-up show, she explores how one became the other. Plus, lots of stuff about dinners and lady gardens.
Sarah is one the UK's and, in recent years, the world's most well-loved touring comedians. A hard-working live performer Sarah has toured with six live shows since 2010, which in total, have been seen by over 1.3 million people.
Away from her live work Sarah is known for hosting three series of her critically acclaimed BBC2 series The Sarah Millican Television Programme, for which she received two BAFTA nominations.
Sarah is a Sunday Times bestselling author with her debut book, How To Be Champion, and in 2016 founded the Standard Issue podcast - a smart, funny magazine-style show made for women by women.
The venue has a great vibe. The crowd responded to Sarah, it was an evening full of energy and laughter.
The show was amazing. She had me laughing from the first sentence and it never stopped till the show ended.
I have watched Sarah on many different You Tube videos, she did not disappoint in the live show. How fun to be able to laugh until your cheeks hurt, I look forward to her return đ
Intimately hilarious. Both performers were great. Love Sarah!
Very Funny. Well paced show. Venue, however, very congested for movement of crowd during intermission.
The comedy of Sarah Millican is legendary to me. I have watched her videos for a few years and was excited to see that she was coming to Winnipeg. Sarah absolutely did not disappoint. The show was everything you wanted live.
I was blown away about the Sarah Millican show. My friend and I agreed we have not laughed that much in forever. Her opening act was amazing also.
Was an Awsome Show. Sarah keeps you entertained and involved. I am so happy to have experienced and seen her in Winnipeg.
Sarah Millican is absolutely wonderful, funny, witty! Great interaction with the crowd. Would definitely go see her again!
Sarah delivered on the laughs and her comedy support, Sally-Anne Hayward, was an unexpected joy as well. I love Sarah and her relatable comedy. We were seated in the upper balcony of the Burton Cummings Theatre, and while the view was great, the heat put a bit of a damper on our evening. If youâre a perimenopausal woman that runs hot, I suggest only attending events at the Burt when you can get lower level seats. We could literally feel the temperature drastically change as we descended down the stairs to the lower level. Uncomfortable heat aside, it was a great night!
This was an amazing show. It started on time. Sarah was hilarious. Her opening act was very funny. There was great interaction with the crowd. It was in a nice intimate theater. An excellent evening of comedy.
Sarah was everything we expected. When you are laughing so hard youâre crying, itâs def a good time. Heads up, thereâs a warm up act. We didnât enjoy her crude and lewd humour, but it might have just been usâŚand most of the people around us.
My husband and I had the best time at the show. She is great and we'd come back to see her again.
Both acts were amazing. I havenât laughed that hard in ages. I hope they both come back to Vancouver.
Sarah Millican was everything I had hoped she would be. She started out funny, and just got better and better until the end of the night when it would have hurt to laugh any harder.
We have never laughed so much. No subject was off limits.
Sarah Millican was absolutely hilarious! She talks about all of the things we think, but donât say out loud. She hits the nail on the head. I wasnât the hugest fan of her opening act, but she wasnât the worst either. Iâll certainly buy tickets to see Sarah again.
We Loved her show! Sarah kept me laughing through the pandemic, I watched as many of her stand-up comedy vides as I could find. She witty, sassy, but funny and decent - Love her! Would go again to another show in a Heartbeat! Can't wait for Sarah M to come back in town!
Show was hilarious. Great seats - we didn't feel to crowded. Couldn't always understand because both comedians spoke quickly and had accents, otherwise some great belly laughs!
Sarah Millican was awesome! I laughed so hard, I think I folded a rib!
