SAM HUNT IN CONCERT:
Country newcomer Sam Hunt has quickly made a name for himself writing songs for icons like Keith Urban and Kenney Chesney, but lately it's his solo work that fans are buzzing about. The former college football star cuts a stylish figure at his live shows, where his smooth voice and acoustic guitar strumming always get hearts pumping and feet moving. Whether he's crooning the catchy "Leave the Night On" or performing the song "Cop Car" that he wrote for Keith Urban, Hunt keeps the energy high and the tunes flowing at his must-see performances.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Georgia-born Sam Hunt was an accomplished athlete before making his mark as a country musician. A talented quarterback, Hunt was on the starting lineup of two universities and was even signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs before his love for music drew him to Nashville. He signed a publishing deal soon after landing there, and before long was working with some of the best country artists in the business. In 2012 he co-wrote Kenny Chesney's chart-topping hit "Come Over", establishing himself as one of the brightest rising talents in the business. In 2013 he made his solo debut with the single "Raised On It" before dropping a 15-track mixtape titled Between the Pines. The release contained "Leave the Night On", a Top 20 hit on the US Hot Country Songs chart. Since then he's penned hits for Keith Urban and Billy Currington, demonstrating a wide-ranging songwriting talent that has fans and critics alike calling him the next big thing in country music.

A charming experience that opened with Dalton Dover who warmed up the crowd with excellent songs and incredible vocals. Russell Dickinson came out next. Now that is a true performer: charismatic, talented, and knew how to work a crowd. Strong engagement of those in attendance during his set. Sam Hunt closed out the night. Rather bland performance. His set couldn’t match the energy of Russell Dickinson, and to be fair, he was outdone by him. One of the biggest criticisms I have regarding the whole set: sound mixing was too focused on bass and bass drum. I have never attended a concert (or punk show for that matter) that emphasized the bass to this degree. I could feel it in my chest every combined beat of bass and bass drum. Moreover, the vocals were muddied for Sam Hunt as the bass drowned out his words more than not. The light show was on point and well done. The seats were wonderfully comfortable. My rating: 3 stars Wife’s rating: 3 1/2 stars
This concert exceeded my expectations! I attended in London, Ont, where Dalton Dover opened. He was great, a fun way to open the show. Everything ran very much on time - it was nice to receive an email in advance that listed all times (doors open, opening act, main act), and they were fully accurate. Sound was perfect, and Sam Hunt’s stage setup was beautiful - a very cool video screen.
The concert was amazing but the security staff at the event was very ignorant to me and my daughter we both are autistic and they treated us very poorly
I went with my two good friends to this we had a wonderful fun night out very good seats & the music was lively & great performance from Sam Hunt
Concert was fantastic! Shoutout to All the staff at Budweiser that were extremely helpful and to the security for making it an easy process to get in.
He was great, never listened to him or country before I met my wife but he's a great singer, had a blast!
Sam Hunt was amazing. Great concert. The Canadian Tire Center was great, very limited drink selection though for non beer drinkers. Also very pricey. Wish more companies would follow suit like The Rogers Center and lower drink and food prices. $40 for 2 cans of twisted tea or 2 beer is pretty steep...we all go to the LCBO, we know what you pay for those cans!! Otherwise an awesome experience.
Great venue, great show and great energy. Sam Hunt sounded great and brought a lot of energy and good vibes to his show. Backdrops were outstanding!
We had floor tickets. We had a good time. Love his music and enjoyed the other two artists as well. You're awesome Sam Hunt.
