About

Piff the Magic Dragon is the green, red and gold-costumed onstage persona of English magician and comedian John van der Put, who has been entertaining audiences at his headlining solo residency at Flamingo Las Vegas since 2015. During the show, Piff performs staggering stunts and illusions along with his signature deadpan humor, his onstage assistant and real-life wife Jade Simone and “the world’s first magic performing chihuahua” Mr. Piffles. In 2019, Piff was named Best Comedian, Best Magician and Best Headliner at the Best of Las Vegas Awards. Elsewhere, Piff the Magic Dragon has gained international notoriety as an opening act for Mumford & Sons and as a contestant on America's Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. He was later crowned the winner of the television competition series Tournament of Laughs in 2020.

Getting there

The Flamingo Showroom is situated within the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The venue is easily accessible via Interstate 15. Parking is available at Flamingo Las Vegas. Valet and self-parking fees can be viewed here. 

*There is no free parking at or near the Jubilee Theater at Horseshoe Las Vegas.

You can reach the Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas by city and regional bus. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) runs the Deuce on The Strip line, a 24-hour bus line that operates between the South Strip Transit Terminal and the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. The Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas is located off either the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino or the Las Vegas at Harrahs bus stops.

The Las Vegas Monorail operates between the SAHARA Las Vegas Station and the MGM Grand Station. The Flamingo Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas is accessible from the Flamingo / Caesars Palace Monorail Station.

    Piff was hilarious. He played off of the crowd without hesitation and kept the crowd laughing. He is a definite must see in Vegas!!

    Ridiculously simple magic tricks presented by a grumpy guy in an ill-fitting rental costume. Instead of ‘how’d he do that?’ this magic show is ‘how’s he going to compensate for the crappy actual trick?’ He consistently does- and it’s hilarious!

    Totally great show. Piff interacted with the audience and kept us entertained the whole show. The magic was great and when we were not thinking how the hell did he do that, we were laughing at his funny interactions with the audience. This is a not miss event, you will not be disappointed. Have fun and share a laugh and then try to figure out the magic.

    Piff was very entertaining. We had 2 teenagers with us and we all enjoyed the show. There was a lot of audience interaction. There were photo ops at the end of the show.

    Very funny and entertaining! Everyone was awesome. Piff made sure to meet, take pictures and sign posters for everyone who wanted after the show. They did have souvenirs to purchase at a very reasonable price but they took pictures at no cost with your own cameras. Very classy on their part. Enjoyable and worth going to see!
