  • It was a fun evening to try

    by M c on 2025-03-18Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

It was an enjoyable evening and amazing how the orchestra played the music so seamlessly it was sometimes easy to forget they were there. I’m glad I went and tried it out, but it’s something to do once. The price tag associated with the experience may not be super worth it and we were in the upper balcony seats. Just one other comment on the orpheum - they should not be serving wine in paper cups. The Orpheum is known for their class and elegance and to be handed a paper cup when I order white wine was truly appalling.

  • Twilight by Candlelight

    by Chelle21 on 2025-03-17Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Great fun was had with the cheese and whines. Everyone enjoyed the movie, laughing at the cheesiness and shouting along to the memorable lines. My only critique was that at some points, the music being played drowned out some of the dialogue.

  • Great Orchestra!

by Chrissy on 2025-03-17Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

This was a fun evening. Watching Twilight on a large screen was great. The Orchestra was awesome. The only bad part was that in some instances where the music was loud, it drowned out what was being said in the movie.

  • Amazing performance, poor audience

by Ncun on 2025-03-17Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was absolutely amazing and I was truly impressed with the music. At times I got lost in the movie completely forgetting the music was being preformed live. Unfortunately, people all around me were talking the entire movie... it kind of baffles me, they were showing less respect during a live performance then people show at a movie theatre. I can't help but think this could have been partially avoided if the opening remarks were a bit more formal and made the emphasis the live musicians on stage rather than the movie being played. 5 stars for the performance. 1 star for the audience.

  • A night to remember

It was truly magical to see the orchestra for this film play out live. Live singing was also great and would have loved if there were multiple to meet a range of notes and harmonies. Overall, fantastic and I look forward to the next time this orchestra comes to my city!
