Great voice but seemed to be just going through the motions. Never connected with audience .

  • Fantastic show

Norah Jones has such presence and her beautiful silky voice was memorizing.

  • Norah Jones and guests, Riff Raff

by Joyful on 2024-08-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Everything from the stage lighting to the incredible stage performance was awesome. Riff Raff was a nice surprise. I wanted to say, "same time next year" Loved Norah's new music. I'm curious though, would Norah and the band like to arrive at musical venues and stay for the week. Thank would be a real treat for all of us. There should be a special venue just for visiting artist, so they could come and enjoy our beautiful city and stay in comfortable lodgings. Perhaps we might suggest that radio stations around the globe could promote contests for their listen to travel to others cities in North America to see and hear all the wonderful talent that remains unavailable for so many fans. Norah Jones and Riff Raff, thank you.

  • Loved Every Minute

by Liz on 2024-08-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I have always enjoyed listening to Norah Jones, but to see her in person was an exceptional treat. The whole show was outstanding. Each of the five people in the group played multiple instruments very well. Norah herself was wonderful. I could listen to her all night. I loved every minute of this concert.

  • Underwhelming

by Splksgt on 2024-08-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Norah Jones has an awesome voice and some of her songs are my favourites. Tuesday nights concert seemed in my opinion only lacking in passion and enthusiasm. Seemed to me like “let’s go this over with and move on “ attitude. Norah grumbled about having to bus in for the concert from Seattle and having to swallow her drugs before the border . Joking she said. Hmm , opening act had more energy.

  • First Norah Jones Concert

by James F. on 2024-08-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

We enjoyed this concert so much. Great musicians accompanying Norah Jones and very good back up vocals. Certainly an enjoyable concert in a very nice venue with good acoustics.

  • New material not up to snuff

by Jigs on 2024-08-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Beautiful voice, distinctive and excellent piano stylings but sadly the new material was not up to her usual high standard. So even with an excellent band it never really took off until she did a couple of her old standards, a few new ones as well and some fine covers of Lucinda Williams (with Riff Raff singer) and Tom Waites. One of the back up singers was annoying loud and not that good - lacking the subtlety needed to complement such a refined artist. Hurray for the Riff Raff were excellent , great band, great material.
