    I had never been to a Christian rock concert but was excited to see MercyMe as I was a fan for a few years. I went solo and had a great seatmate who was my concert buddy. Newsboys were the backup band and they were terrific. MercyMe put on such an amazing performance with worship songs and scripture. It was so uplifting like I imagine an old time gospel revival to be. So wonderful to see so many people in the audience singing and worshipping God. Abbotsford Event Centre was terrific setting and even exiting the parking lots was orderly. Can't wait for another worship show.

    Besides the parking challenges at the Abbotsford Centre where it backs up HWY 1 and parking lot seems to only have one entrance (we ended up parking blocks away), the concert was great. Opening act was short and then Newsboys came out and played a lot of the hits and then short intermission then Mercy Me came. Sound was good, music was good and overall a great evening.

    The sound was clear, every word sung and spoken understandable. The volume was perfect. The screens showing closeups of the performers were a good size even for those in the furthest sections from the stage.

    I really enjoyed the concert. The buildup from David Leonard and then the Newsboys to Mercy Me was so amazing. I could feel God's people worshipping together.
