  • Real fun show

I am a sceptic of stage Hypnosis. And I do know Improv, both good and bad. Despite both of these disadvantages, I hugely enjoyed the show. It was very entertaining and well done. Including handling of "Riiight, let's just move on to the next bit now".

  • Another funny, lmao show!

As before the show i was skeptical about hypnosis, after seeing it's being done live, i am sort of a believer! Either way, it's a very funny impov show that is highly recommended. Never a dull moment and i burst out laughing many times

This is my second show and it didn’t disappoint . Asad and Colin always find a way to work with the crowd and the hypnotized subjects. We laughed so much our sides hurt. I highly recommend this production of you are looking for a great night out

My husband & I enjoyed the show. Colin Mochrie is such a professional and he has great timing in the show. The only con is that the show seemed a little slow. But we still enjoyed it.

  • My face hurt from laughing so hard!

I coordinated a night out with 8 friends - every single person loved the show. Colin was hilarious as usual and Assad's hypnosis techniques were cool to see in real time! The extra unknown factor with the hypnotized audience members as the improv troupe for the night was awesome.

The show was extremely impressive, creative, unbelievable, and hilarious. I was belly laughing nearly the entire show. It was the best show I've seen in quite some time!

Funny and fascinating. Asad is a master at his craft; so fun to watch him keep the participants on track while Colin makes amazing performers out of them. Such a creative concept and a really fun night out!! I've seen this show in Vegas, now again here in Edmonton; never gets old!

  • Hyprov - The Reasons we Laugh

by Richie Rich on 2024-12-03Rating: 5 out of 5

Hyprov - Improv Under Hypnosis - is more than just a show; it’s an experience that reminded me how laughter and connection can heal—even when life feels heavy. Sitting in the audience, still carrying the weight of losing our beloved family dog, I wasn’t sure if I was ready to laugh. But Colin Mochrie and Asad Mecci created an atmosphere so light, so genuinely human, that for two hours, I found myself immersed in something truly special. Watching everyday people from the audience step into the spotlight under Asad’s hypnosis and Colin’s comedic genius was like watching humanity unfold in its rawest, funniest, and most unexpected form. The unpredictability of the show—a true rollercoaster where you never know what’s coming next—was both exhilarating and heartwarming. It’s not just entertainment; it’s a reminder of how people, even strangers, can come together to create something joyful. I laughed hard, and for a while, the ache of loss was replaced with pure, unfiltered joy. It’s a show for when you need to remember the good in the world and the power of humour to bring us back to ourselves. If you’re looking for a reason to smile, to connect, or just to escape for a while, Hyprov is a gift you don’t want to miss.
