DIANA ROSS IN CONCERT:

As Billboard's "Female Entertainer of the Century," Diana Ross holds an unrivaled place among R&B's rich history of legendary divas. From her time leading the Supremes to her extraordinary solo career, Ross's supple voice, striking looks, and effortless style have made her a timeless icon, as charismatic today as she was in the '60s. Featuring her greatest hits, Motown-inspired backup singers, and all the costume changes you'd expect from a diva's diva, Ross's 2013 shows stunned, setting expectations sky high for her 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born and raised in Detroit, Ross rose to international superstardom in the '60s as leader of the Supremes, the group that became Motown Records'  golden goose with an unprecedented ten No. 1 hits between the years 1964-1967. After fulfilling her contract with the group, Ross released her self-titled solo debut in 1970, earning her first Grammy nomination with soul classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Following the success of her first solo TV special Diana!, Ross once again topped the charts with 1973's "Touch Me in the Morning," going on to release a hugely successful duet album with Marvin Gaye later that year. In addition to her chart success, Ross established herself as a skilled actor with acclaimed appearances in classic '70s films including Mahogany and The Wiz. Over a career that spans more than half a century, Ross has released 27 Top 40 singles, earning a Guinness World Record as the most successful female artist of all time.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Diana is still the beautiful diva she's always been and stuns in her many sparkling costumes, singing all of the many, many favorites that have made her loved by so many."

"Her voice was wonderful. She was so professional and knew how to work a crowd. Great selection of songs. And her costume changes were fantastic."

"Still a Diva, glamorous, elegant, classy... It was a wonderful show. The crowd in New Orleans adored her, were on their feet almost the entire time, singing along and dancing to her hits -- all well-delivered."

  • AN EVENING WITH A LEGENDARY ARTIST

by Mowtown Cool on 2024-05-24OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Diana Ross continues to amaze and entertain audiences around the world. After five decades in the music industry she has not lost her unique soulful sensitive voice with a range which excedes the abilities of many current entertainers. The OLG Theatre at Falseview Casino has 5000 seats and they were sold out for Dianas' performance. She was accompanied by a 13 piece Orchestra and 4 backup singers while she sang continuously for some 90 minutes. I was fortunate to have seating in the first row and was able to thank Ms. Ross with roses which she accepted gracefully. Although I have seen her several times through her career this performance I shall cherish forever as she created an energy of love throughout the Theatre through her magnificent voice. Thank You Ms. Ross.

Loved Miss Ross. A great show. We sang along until we were hoarse! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree with daughter Rhonda.

  • A special moment in history

It was a pleasure to witness the classy, phenomenal woman, Dianna Ross in action. The way she gracefully blessed the stage with her beauty and timeless tunes, was a night to remember.

  • Simply Supreme

by Tony A on 2024-05-21OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

From the moment she walked onto the stage, her voice was in credible condition. She was Pitch Perfect for every song… Clear, crisp vocals, as if she has not aged at all. She did not perform some of her more difficult songs, such as endless love or when you tell me that you love me, but she did attempt Touch Me In the Morning and did an exquisite job. She brought the house down with her anthem ain’t no mountain high enough and kept the crowd on their feet for most of the Show… The diva proved that she is the ultimate queen!

  • Amazing show!

by Brenda G on 2024-05-21OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Diana Ross was just incredible - she looks and sounds as good as she always has. I had never been to the OLG Stage before, and I was a bit nervous about my floor seat. I'm relatively short and always end up with the 6 foot person in front of me, so I see nothing. Not here! The seats are staggered, so no-one was directly in front of me - finally, a venue the gets it! Highly recommend the venue, and if you get a chance to see Diana Ross perform, GO!!!!

  • Got to see a Legend

by OldWlz32 on 2024-05-21OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Not sure what to expect from someone who is 80 years old, both my partner and I were absolutely thrilled at Ms. Ross' performance. From the opening montage of her life to her crisp and clear voice, the show was a very nice surprise. We also liked her engagement with the crowd and the fact that she took the time to not only thank her fans bit signed a few autographs as well.

  • Diana hasnt lost her touch

by SusanD on 2024-05-21OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Diana Ross may be 80, but her sultry smooth voice is the same as when she started in the 60's. She sang one song after another, from the 60's to present date.
