Beth Stelling was born in Oakwood, OH in 1986, later earning the nickname ìSweet Bethî based on her motherís habit of rewarding her with sugary treats anytime she did something nice. She graduated magna cum laude from Miami University with a degree in theater in 2007, after which she relocated to Chicago to study improv at The Annoyance Theatre. The Chicago Reader named Stelling the Best Stand-up Comedian in Chicago in 2010, though she decided to relocate to Los Angeles the following year. Once she hit the LA scene, she began hosting her own weekly standup special and released her debut comedy album, 2012ís Sweet Beth. Sheís performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Conan, and the Pete Holmes Show in addition to festivals like SXSW, Bumbershoot, and SF Sketchfest. Beth Stelling continues to climb the standup comedy ranks and indulge fans around the world with her signature sweet and snarky persona.
