Canadian songstress Ariane Moffatt has graced audiences with her soaring voice and '80s-inspired synth-pop for over a decade. The classically trained singer combines her captivating stage presence with awe-inspiring audiovisuals to deliver a truly memorable concert experience. Whether she's belting out fan-favorites like "La barricade" or showering the crowd with confetti, Moffatt is a vibrant young act who's sure to stun concertgoers on her thrilling tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Quebec, Canada, Ariane Moffatt got her start studying music in college, earning her undergraduate degree in classical singing at the University of Quebec at Montreal. She made her debutin 2002 with Aquanaute, and although it wasn't an initial hit, the album was re-released on major label EMI/Virgin in Europe three years later after her smashing cover of Matthieu Chedid's "La Bonne Etoile" became a massive hit on French radio. Since then the famed singer has released three more acclaimed albums, collaborated with Yael Naim on her Juno Award-winning record, and thrilled fans with popular cover album that was certified gold in Canada -- all by the age of 33. With years of experience under her belt, Moffatt passes down her expertise to budding musicians as a judge on Canada's version of the hit TV show The Voice. Whether she's touring the country or giving advice to newcomers, Moffatt is a vibrant, one-of-a-kind act that exudes passion that can't be matched.

Boring no energy

The ambiance was great, I did not feel like I was in Ottawa, the crowd was on their feet many times! It was a really good show that I would want to see again!
Good show, bad lighting

I missed half of the show because I was blinded by the big white spots that were behind the band and kept going down until the spot light was directly in our eyes......it would take me few seconds each time to be able to see anything. I have to say it was highly annoying and I was getting very frustrated and did not enjoy the first half of the show because of that, I was even thinking about leaving, that's how annoyed I was!!! It did get better for the second half of the show and I was finally able to enjoy Ariane's great talent!!!!

Amazing energy with quite a few stomping on your feet moments! If you know Ariane you know what you are in for, if not you will be amazed! Fanny Bloom opened with a piano and voice only performance that was really powerful.
