American entertainer, choreographer, television personality, and drag performer Alyssa Edwards has hit the road for the Alyssa: Life, Love & Lashes Tour. Slated for 34 shows across more than a dozen states over the summer, show attendees rave over Edwards' talent and professionalism onstage. Edwards is perhaps known best for the 2012 performance on the fifth season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" where Edwards quickly became a fan favorite, leveraging that into a second appearance on the show and finishishing as fourth runner-up on season two of "RuPaul's Drag Race: All-Stars." Away from the stage, Edwards is an accomplished choreographer, owning the Beyond Belief Dance Company which was the centerpiece of the Netflix Original docuseries "Dancing Queen." Born Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson in Mesquite, Texas, Alyssa Edwards is the chosen stage name of the tv personality and drag performer. According to the "RuPaul's Drag Race" Wiki, Edwards is considered to be a Drag Race legend in the community, as one of the only queens to make an appearance on RuPaul's podcast "What's the Tee?" and coining iconic terms like "Rigga Morris" and "Backrolls." The stage name originated from Johnson's youth where he took a liking to Alyssa Milano from the television show "Who's the Boss." Johnson adopted the last name of his early mentor and drag mother, Laken Edwards. Away from the stage, Edwards is perhaps best known for being a small business owner and dance studio operator, running the famed Beyond Belief Dance Company in his hometown. The studio was featured on Netflix's original docuseries "Dancing Queen" (which features Edwards, who is also credited as a director of the show). Edwards is also known for his appearance on "The Bachelorette." Edwards' dance company also competed twice on "America's Got Talent" where the group reached the quarter finals of the competition both times.

    Alyssa’s show was fabulous. Of course the dancing was top shelf and her sets incredible, but it was the personal shares and childhood memories about Justin growing up with Granny that made me tear up. Alyssa is always and forever amazing. Still think she shoulda won Drag Race. Tongue pop.

    Wonderful to meet our fav Queen! She’s iconic in her talent and genuine. Only complaint was VIP felt rushed - pictures were awful. Crew was very friendly, but more time could have been taken with fans. Long wait between VIP and show start (almost 2 hours). Real privilege to see Alyssa live!

    The life story was kind of squished, feel like we could have gotten more details. We would have enjoyed more if it was more dancing since that is what Alyssa Edwards is known for
