    The Australian BeeGees show

by Karenb on 2024-05-11Cabaret du Casino de Montreal - Montreal

We were at the Australian BeeGees show at theCasino de Montreal on May 8th. They put on such a wonderful show! They performed with high energy, singing a long playlist of the BeeGees songs. It brought back memories of seeing the original BeeGees in concert years ago! They really captured the essence of the brothers interactions, style, and look. They performed 2, 55 minute sets, with a 15 minute intermission. Their band was fantastic as well, and the sound was perfect! We had never been to this venue before, and found the seats very comfortable, and we had a great view of the stage. It was a memorable night, which we thoroughly enjoyed and didn't want to end!

You’d never know they weren’t the real thing!

Amazing show and venue. The Australian Bee Gees were fantastic! They were the next best thing to the original and lots of camaraderie amongst themselves and the audience. They played all of our favourites and we so enjoyed that little slice of our younger days. Bravo!

    Australian BeeeGee tribute band

by H.H.H. on 2024-04-09The Arena at Pickering Casino Resort - Pickering

The spirit of the BeeGee mbrs are honored through this great tribute band; if you even remotely liking the voice, music...no disappoints. Highly recommended.

Good music - a tad short

by Cjcj on 2024-04-09The Arena at Pickering Casino Resort - Pickering

The band was great: good music and good audience connection. I was surprised that the 2 sets were on the short side. First set was 40 minutes and second set was 35 minutes. This felt a bit short - especially that early in set 1 they did a medley of several well-known songs.

    Too short

by BG fan on 2024-04-09The Arena at Pickering Casino Resort - Pickering

There's no shortage of music by the Bee Gees. The band could have played more songs. Even the encore was just a song they had played during the concert. It seemed the band was in a hurry to get to their next destination. Could use a more lively bass player. Drummer & horns were good. Voices were great.

    not the best

by jen on 2024-04-09The Arena at Pickering Casino Resort - Pickering

Arena Venue at Pickering Casino very nice and new. However, I must express some disappointment regarding the actual performance. While there were certainly some enjoyable highlights throughout the show, there were also moments that left much to be desired. In particular, I found the performance of the lead singer, Barry, to be somewhat lacking. At times, his vocals came across as overly animated and ear-piercing, which detracted from the overall experience. I’m not sure why there was a 30-minute intermission when they did not change clothes nor did the décor change on stage. Typically, this time is provided to make set, costume, or any other changes to the performance. Following the conclusion of the show, the members of my group (4 of us) felt somewhat underwhelmed. We couldn't help but feel that the performance did not live up to our expectations. I am also curious to inquire about the actual names of the three performers. I have reason to believe that they may not be the same individuals who typically perform at the Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas. Having attended that show previously, I found the performance at the Arena to be quite different in comparison.
