Easy to get to Scotia Bank Arena through Union station. No line up to deal with when entering. Assistance with finding section and seats. Chosen for an upgrade from 300 section to 100 section. Easy to exit back into the Union Station to catch a Go Train.
It wasnt for nostalgists! Great show with amazing arrangements of classic Who repertoire. Just the right balance.
Steven Page opened & was “ok”. Only played for 40 min. The Who came on stage at 8:40 & played non stop for 2 hrs & 15 min Unbelievable stamina for ANY age! The sound system certainly wasn’t the best. If you didn’t know the tune it was difficult at times to understand the words. I pre purchased parking through Park Whiz BUT my pickup truck was an inch or so too tall & I had to find another parking spot. Which sucked since I had already paid:( Nonetheless it was a very good concert👍
This was an amazing show. Roger and Pete were in top form, and the supporting members, including Zak Starkey and Katie Jacoby, took it to the next level.
Great concert and great seats. Scotiabank Center Toronto washrooms were GROSS!!!! You pay big bucks for tickets, the least they can do is provide clean washrooms WITH toilet paper!!! Three stalls in a row had no paper and were very dirty!
This was one of my best concerts ever Listened to The Who for 50 Yeras my first time seeing them live and super happy I did the performance was great and didn't even notice when the orchestra took a break Quality show like an amazing wine!!! gets better with age Thank You
It was great to see The Who in Toronto and a privilege to see them now at this point of their lives. Zak was great on drums and the orchestra was terrific too. Nice to see local talent on stage. A great memory for me. Thanks.
Very entertaining, they still have it! The addition of the Orchestra was amazing.
Incredibly talented lead guitar even though he is now 74.
It was an excellent concert with awesome Supporting Cast
Historically the bands of yesterday have proven over and over again how they have etched the legacy of rock and roll forever. The Who not only brought back the memories of yesteryear they gave us all a picture of what to expect in the future. Listening to what is about to be released in their upcoming new CD release in Dec., shows their new sounds will continue to influence rockers fir many years to come. An amazing performance by an icon of rock and roll.
I saw the Who in Vancouver on Monday night, it was my 9th time seeing them in the last 6 years. Was sat in the 8th row, a little further back than some of my previous 2nd row shows. I hadn't watched any footage from previous shows this tour but had seen setlists so knew what to expect. Here's a few of my observations! First time seeing them with an orchestra, it certainly is powerful, I thought during Tommy it overpowered the band's playing at times but for the Quad set it was excellent. You really notice what the orchestra adds during the middle band only section when they're not there! Wasn't sure I was going to like acoustic WGFA but actually loved it, was great to see just the two of them perform together like that. One big point was Pete's mood, he really seems to be enjoying this tour and was making jokes all night, I've never seen him this happy on stage before! The setlist was best I've seen, way better than the selection of overdone singles from the Hits50 tour. Last point was Roger's voice was probably best I've heard him, overall it wasn't the best performance I've seen the band give as a whole but it was still excellent throughout.
They may be well aged, but they haven't lost a thing. The music was fantastic with a good cross section of their enormous library. The orchestra accompanying them were flawless. A great show! Some drunken/high obnoxious fans were the only negative but that was certainly beyond the band's control.
I was completely blown away with Tommy as the opening. I’m glad it wasn’t just 1 song but an overview of the rock opera. I felt the same about Quadrophenia. I love 5:15 and never heard them perform it live ( I’ve seen them 4 times). My friend came with me and even though he isn’t a huge Who fan like me, he really enjoyed the show and was glad he went. Hope The Who can squeeze in another tour. They’ve still got it!
The Who put on a brilliant show with the Orchestra . One of the best ideas to combine the Who with the orchestra . not only did the play parts of Tommy and Quadrophenia but a few if their hits. Would see them anytime
Concert was fabulous....loved it. Great to see high caliber musicians come to Vancouver. HOWEVER..the security cops were way over the top . I was in section 114 and the amount of flashlights that were shined in our section was over the top. I had one security guy venture 5 seats in so he could give a lecture to some lady who lit up a vape pen. Meanwhile my daughter sent some uncomfortable minuets staring at his crotch. Took their job way to seriously. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to vent .
It was a fantastic night. The addition of the orchestra was great. Roger and Pete still have what it takes and we look forward to their new album.
As i am such a huge Eddie fan, his surprise visit made the night for me!!!
The Band were fantastic, absolutely amazing. The venue, Rogers Arena, stopped selling beer at 9pm, the show went until 11pm. This was very disappointing and put a damper on the night.
